'93 Bumper Interchangeability

My '93 F150 has no bumpers. Will an 8th or 10th gen front bumper fit or do I need to stay within 91-97?

How about the rear? I've heard that a 78-79 Bronco will fit and looks pretty nice, sort of "tucked-in" and neat.

This is going to be a CraigsList/junkyard hunt, just wondering how wide ai can cast my net.

Thanks.

The front bumper needs to be 92-96 or 97 for larger trucks. The rear should be from 80-96. I think possibly even earlier will fit the rear.

Too bad you aren't closer to Texas, I have a nice rear ranch had bumper for sale.

For what it is worth, some of the pre '92 rear chrome bumpers have a rubber trim that, the '92 and later don't, but matches very well with the post '92 factory chrome front with its rubber trim.

Good luck with the hunt!

Trust me, brother... I live in Portlandia and I think it's too bad I'm not IN Texas. I'm stuck here for a while, but an escape plan is in the works. I don't know if I'll make it past Idaho, but I can live with that, too.

You can do a bumper from an 08-12? They don't look too bad with those.

What Red said. But those bumpers are like a one finger lift when moving them around the garage. Bought it for my 4x4 but thinking I'd rather wait for a nice shortbed 2by to put that and the roll pan next to it on.

Agreed, they do look good!

The install involves cutting a couple of inches off the front frame horns.

You can use the stock or ranch hand bumpers from the 6.4L Super duty. Ive personally used a ranch hand bumper for my 92 F350.
