chrome rear bumper

check out my latest mod... found the rear bumper in my grandmas back yard along with a couple of carbs and other car and truck parts my grandpa collected over the years... feels good to put something of his on my truck, i belive this bumper was off of my uncles chevy that was scraped out, but not 100% for sure anyways lets see if the photos work

ok it didnt work i will add them to my gallery for now

here they are from photo bucket, every time i tried to add it to my gallery on here IE and firefox would both close... so photo bucket will have to do...

by the way, this is my truck, so please dont give me any crud if this is a cheby bumper, it belongs to me and i can customize it the way i see fit, just wanted to show every one, my most resent "great acomplishment"

thank you, i just personally wanted some chrome... and didnt like the wrap around rear bumper thing...

brings me to the next thing... any one want to trade me a chrome front bumper for a rear bumper? its already primer gray i think... i dont remember... if no one wants it here, ebay is where you may find it at...

i havent the slightest idea, im not even sure if it was off of a chevy... but all of our chevys where always early 70's to late 80s... when i went over to my cusians house last night to get a drill to mount the bumper though, his 89 chevy van has the same bumper is looks like anyways...

just be wear though, that if you are looking to tow stuff this probablly wouldnt be the best bumper unless you have one of the square hitch things, cause that ball is mounted on a real red neck home made hitch... its mounted to the back of the sheet metal that holds the liceness plate and then was sapost to be mounted to a cross memeber, im gonna set mine up to the camper tie down thing that you see on the side view pic and then run something under the bumper to hold it in place for extreamly light towing..

by the way the one of the other big reasons for this swap was, i didnt like the fact that the rear bumper coverd half the liceness place... i mean the buttom of it anyways, i dont know if other people have had problems with it, but being 18... and already know most of the local cops... they would screew with me for that...
