** UPDATE - FOUND WHAT WILL WORK. MAKE NOTE OF THIS 300 OWNERS **

Dorman 42061 works perfect even though it is a GM application.
After failed tries at O'reillys, no luck at Napa, the guy at Autozone found me the perfect fit.


Having a heck of a time finding the correct PCV grommet for the valve cover on my '65 300 ci 6cyl.
- Hole in VC is 1.25"ish(1.233)
- PCV valve is .75"

- Measurements on the part NPD lists are not correct.

- An internet search gave me Fel-Pro #10740, called Fel-Pro they claim they don't even make PCV grommets?

- Dorman makes a ton of grommets but the parts store ordered the one listed for '79-80something and it was sloppy in the VC hole. There listings don't give the measurement for the part of the grommet that fits the VC hole.

- Measurements form the old one that came off in pieces before I bead blasted the VC are .716" for PCV hole and 1.27" for the groove for the VC hole and the groove needs to be a little less than 1/8".

Any leads on where to get the right one?

worst case you might be able to go to something like this and put an inline PCV valve in place to work. mine sounds about like yours. since Im not looking to do 'restored original' I may take this path if I have the same trouble here.

Note: 1965/66 F100/350 240/300 & 352 use a different grommet than 1967. 1968 and later is different again.

AFAIK, the following grommet is not reproduced.
