I got a new pcv valve from walmart , But it isent the same as the one
on the motor, The new one has 2 hoses at the top but the old one has only
one hose on the top and a hole in the bottom of it..
There should be a plastic plug atached to the new valve. It sits in between the two holes on top. Use it to plug the little top hole and then your ready to put it back in. I don't know why they do it that way, its the same if you by the part at napa.
Where in the heck does it go? I just got one the other day and can't see it anywhere on the valve cover. I checked every where I could see even standing on the bumper to see the back of the motor.
NeoCoboy, I changed my PCV valve on my 300 not to long ago.The PCV valve should be right behind the Intake manifold on the valve cover. You Can get to it better on the Drivers side.
you no how thares a hose from your air box to were you add oil to the motor,
thare will be a hole on the motor just like that one just the pvc valve slips in it.
Dirrectly behind the oil filler is a breather that connects to the air box. One my truck this is just a filter, not a PCV as far as I can tell. The PCV is on the valve cover right? not the motor? I looked it over again from front to back and didn't see anything else on the valve cover that even had a hose going too it. Is this filter thing the PCV in discise?
