C6 internals swap question
I have a freshly rebuilt C6 from a '78 Bronco and was wondering if all the guts are the same and could be taken out and put in a C6 housing from an '87 Bronco that has the smaller bell housing for a 302? Someone wants to buy my C6 for his '87 and would like to know if the swap is a direct one and how much would a transmission shop charge to swap over the internals?
I posted this in the transmission forum too but I posted it here as well seeing as how both transmissions came from big Broncos and because the guy who wants to buy my tranny needs info soon.
