Anniversary

So this spring is my 15 year anniversary---

What should I get her? Or where should we go?

Shes pretty cheap so flowers and the like are out. I bought her name on a star a few years ago and she thought that was pretty dumb. I am not allowed to buy her jewelry.

I am just at a loss... But I do have some time.

Would you have time to build her something?

Think about her hobbies, things she enjoys. If she is like my wife, she wants me to just stop spending money for a while. LOL!!

Man you have me drawing a blank. My ex loved flowers delivered to her work so her co workers could see um. And jewelry was always a big hit.

Wiki says crystal is the traditional and watch is the modern 15th anny gift.

How bout arranging for someone to take care of Calli and doing something. Maybe Branson or KC or some such. If there is a place she wants to go or something she wants to see.

Jack hit a couple of good ones there. Jamie and I's 9th anniversary is today so I had flowers delivered to the house (even though she doesn't have co-workers anymore, just 8 kids watching the delivery ) and I'm taking her on a kid-free date to KC this weekend. We're just going to shop\eat\sleep in relaxation for about 36 hours. That alone is priceless, at least for us and our crazy boys

Haha, Jamie's EXACT words too. She thinks it makes us bad parents that abandon their kids......no. I told her once or twice a year is perfectly fine and the boys love to spend time with their grandparents too.

Chad and Justin, as a grandparents, we love to have the grandkids pawned off on on us. in our case if it isn't a good time for them, we speak up. Giving you kids the opportunity to spend time with grandparents is a gift to all.

I vote Abilene... Ft Scott has one of the highest crime rates in Ks. You wouldn't want a perfect night's sleep to be interrupted with the "Super Pickle" coming up missing or sitting on cement blocks.

Ugh I would love to get her stuff like that-- but I have all the art talent of a turnip. I can't do wood- I can't paint (unless its a car) I have been thinking of getting into welding silverware into shapes?

A nicely framed print of her favorite family or self photo?

Or photo book with recent photographed event? I've made them before with personalized messages under photos. Quite a hit.
