It is with great sadness that we found out that PSD DickW...Dick Wenstrom...passed away yesterday afternoon from complications from a fall at home earlier this year. Dick was well known to visitors of the MA Chapter for his congeniality...kind nature and great sense of humor!!!
I had the pleasure of first meeting Dick at the "Big June Bash"...a GTG I hosted at the dealership I was working at. He will be fondly remembered for his friendliness...great sense of humor...love of good food and beer...and...his love for his truck. He fondly labeled her as "The Mistress". Dick was a fixture at our GTGs from that point on...if we were going someplace that didn't serve beer...you could count on Dick to have a cooler full!!!
Very sad news indeed Ken. I had the pleasure of meeting Dick twice. Once back in 2013 when I was in your neck of the woods for a gtg no then again at the last dyne day at Minuteman Trucks. He was a great guy and always had a great story to tell. Dick you will be missed very much.
Dick, Never got the pleasure to meet you in person however it was always a pleasure to chat with you here. You always had kind words for us all, and happy to chat with us all and encourage us. Hope to have a cold one with you on the other side, Ill look for the guy with the truck and cooler, Im sure you will be in good company.
Dick, I did not have the pleasure of meeting you in person, but I felt that I had known you for a lifetime from our conversations here. You will be missed my friend and may you rest in peace.
