460 swap completed

I'm nearly completely done my 460 swap on my 79 F250 4wd. I say nearly because I still have couple loose ends to clean up. In the past 3 days I probably put 300 mi because I was excited I guess. I was really not happy with it at first but seems as if my recurve dist was the culprit. My build consisted of:

76 460 D1VE block .030 over with one sleeve (wrist pin ate the block)
Reconditioned D3 heads w/ all new exhaust guides
Stock crank excellent condition just polished
Flat top Pistons
Erson RV cam with +4 degree ground into it (kinda wish I woulda went comp 268 for broader power range but still satisfied)
New pushrods and normal other stuff
Straight up timing set- did end up with cam advanced 4 degrees because of it.
Edelbrock Performer 460 intake (had a used one)
Ford Motorsport 6qt rear pan and sump kit
750 Holley 4160-tried my 4160 600 but no matter what just not big enough...750 is great
Champion 4 core radiator with NOS FE shroud (400 would not work too deep with Clutch fan)
New harmonic balancer
11" Luk Clutch for FE from rock auto
Fe 184 tooth flywheel from Jegs
302 Pilot bushing
L&L motor mount, PS and Alt bracket (got in a parts truck with the 460)
DB electrical 92-97 460 MT PGMR starter
460 truck manifolds
Barely used craigslist Magnaflow stockish type mufflers/ new custom bent 2.5" bent like factory behind rear wheel
Here it is with the 600 and old crusty air cleaner.

I still need to get some holder for the plug wires and couple other small things. After quite a few timing adjustments I can say it's awesome. It pulls hills around here with ease and barely any throttle most of the time to keep it moving. At first I was a little disappointed and felt like my dads 400 which ran much better than my 400 would walk all over my 460 but not now. I haven't checked the mpg yet but I feel it's not worse and possibly a tad better than my 400.

I did do a vacuum check and compression test among the tuning and seem to pull 22-23" of vacuum and 175psi on 2cyl with the rest being 170ish. My recurved distributor seemed to be the cause of it being lazy. I'm probably gonna be sending it back to be looked at since my factory unknown distributor works much better.

One thing that kinda sucked was I had found a new pair of Ford aluminum covers for $60 never used and hoped to use them. Turns out they don't clear the booster. Oh well....they at least looked pretty on my trailer.

Pay no attention to the random 76 F100 bumper under the tree...it's headed to meet its maker soon

To use those Alum Ford Racing valve covers "swap in a F350 booster" is what I have read on here. The rest is looking good.

So with the rear sump pan and matching side of the pan dip stick, you know you can pull the front dip stick and plug the front dip stick hole.

I knew abaout the booster as I've done the dual diaphragm swap on the other truck. I figured that was another can of worms I didn't feel like opening while trying to get this finished.

That front dipstick is no longer a dipstick. With a rear sump they hit the pan so I cut it off for now.

This all kinda got rushed along since we're heading to the hospital today for a induced delivery of our first kid. The whole swap took longer than expected from a couple issues.
