Leaf spring code

1993 f350 7.3. The leaf spring code On The door tag says T F. Everywhere I look I can not find a decoder that has F. Everyone says the rear codes are ABC.

Ford Spring Codes - Shop Ford Leaf Springs by Code | SD Truck Springs | Leaf Springs, Helper Springs and Suspension Parts

Did you try places that sell springs? This interests me because I have changed springs but never paid any attention to the codes.

This one lets you search by spring code.

awesome thank you I found it on that last link. My next question is the spring is rated for 2700 pounds. So does that mean the pair being in the truck is rated at 5400?

Correct, The spring capacity rating for the pair would be 5,400 overall in the rear.

What are you looking to do? Increase weight capacity?

I have a Ford van that is a class B motorhome, a Falcon 190. Since it has all of the weight of the RV stuff in it the springs have taken a beating. I would like to install the heaviest set of E350 springs. The rear end and springs are for a 1993 E350. The van is a 1990.

There are heavy duty option rear springs and extra heavy duty rear springs. The extra heavy duty springs are very very heavy, they'll definitely hold up the weight but you will sacrifice ride quality.

Gotch ya! They are not a super heavy spring but not an extremely light spring either, almost a nice in the middle setup.

Not to distract, but maybe this is at least relevant... I changed my factory rear leafs for Superduty B codes. Bought them from ATS Junior! This was a great improvement in ride over the factory leafs. However, I now have a 2,000 pound camper in the bed almost full time and the truck rides on the overload leafs. Is there a heavier rear spring code than the Bs?

I have a 1999 F250 and a 2001 F350. The F250 sat about 1 inch higher than the F350. The trucks are identical in body style and engine choices. The only difference is the F350 is a standard shift and Dually.
I installed a set of X codes on the F250. It rides a bit better as it doesn’t have so much front end squishy feel. The F350 is still on the stock V codes which after 22 years are most likely settled. The F250 had a set of X codes installed at Deaver springs in Santa Ana. They have a slight arch but it’s not anything outrageous. The F250 truck sits about 2 inches higher than the F350 now. I had no other modifications. The stock suspension shocks, steering components were reused with no complications. I had no adverse tire wear. I rebuilt the front axle and there was no adverse tire wear.
if you’re gonna buy rearched springs you’ll most likely have more lift than the 2 inch that I got with the x codes.
