Adding Cargo bed lighting

In my 2012 F150 I used LED strip lights and tied into my interior light power. So if the interior were on, my bed was on. My F250 will have the factory bed lights but if they aren't bright enough I thought of either connecting LED strip lights to them or to an upfitter switch.
