Phone Mount for 2017

I picked one up from Best Buy. Man does this thing stick to the windshield!
Then only downside is that you have to stick a thin metal mounting plate to the back of your phone or the case that you're using. If you change cases or phones, there are a couple extra plates or you have to re-stick it with 2 sided tape.
I used in the 2016 F250 I previously had and now it's in the '17. Hasn't bounced out yet.

Since I don't play CDs anyway, having it take up the CD slot is not a problem for me, plus it keeps my phone right at my fingertips as I'm driving rather than way up on the window where I can't reach it as easily (I'm tall and drive with the seat all the way back).

Looks like a nice option. Wish I'd seen that before I spent more money on the one I have.

Quail doc, what are the specs on your truck, do you have XL, XLT, Lariat, Lariat Ultimate or higher? Reason I ask is, tpdepending on the technology you have, you may never need to look at your phone again?

Lariat w/ Sync 3. I'm noticing that once I have the phone setup, I rarely need it. I would like to figure out how to get WAZE onto my Sync 3 but that's a first world problem.

if its android, make sure you have android auto installed on the phone, when you plug it in, it and hit the map icon it dhould give gou the option for GM or Waze, also make sure you have the newest update for waze.

That's perfect. I was thinking of putting it above the vent to the left of the steering wheel. In my F150 I just used the suction cup mount on the windshield but I really hate those.

Piece of wood flooring with same wood grain. Inserted under rear with slot cut to fit and sliding door over front slot to hold in place. RAM rail mounted to wood
RAM T-Ball installed to rail.
Two RAM ***** installed that can be easily remove or whole wood bracket can be removed in seconds.
RAM X-Grip and short arm installed
Phone installed (prior to rail install) to X-Grip and USB data cord passed through slot in wood above mount bracket. Can keep phone charged, use phone map for navigation on truck screen and use Apple Car Play on trips
