Im going to be headed to carlisle and hershey to pick up some emblems for my 48. I need the ford lettering and the f1 badges. I see they list different part numbers for the lettering on a 48-50 like mine and the 52. Does anybody have any pictures or can tell me the difference between the two so I dont buy the wrong set?
48-50 models, 51 f3 parcel deliveries with the 226, and 52 models all used the same letters 7c-8311, 8318, 8320, and 8322. Some used speed clips but my 50 and 52 have brackets with screws.
The letters on my '49 are die cast and chrome plated. The numbers are cast in the back and are the same as JB listed. the "F" 7C8311; "O" 7C8318; "R" 7C8320; "D" 7C8322. Maybe some of the '52 trucks had stamped stainless letters in place of the die cast ones, like Ford did with the F series cowl emblems, die cast on '48 and early '49 and stamped on late '49- '50. Just a speculation.

You guys are correct, they are the same part. I should have looked closer in the catalog. It shows 48-50 and 52 seperate, but they have the same part number. Thanks for the help guys!
