Get the best of both worlds, add a whipple supercharger to it. Reliability of the 5.0 with the extra boost from the whipple.

I am looking into doing it for mine, extra power for towing.

I have a 2016 with the 5.0, I love the truck, I feel you can't go wrong either way though.
