The Big Tow, It tastes like chicken. As far as what is leaking on the engine cover I have discovered that when I take the truck through the car wash the soap and water dispensed by the touch less wash system leaks onto the engine. I'm not happy with that. it means that when it rains water drips onto the engine as well. I don't believe that cold water dripping on a hot engine would go very long without some sort of issues cropping up later on. Not to mention water pooling on a cold engine and then starting it up. I'm sure I'll have problems getting the service dept at the dealership to do anything about this. As for the wiper fluid, its still being lost but I cant find out where its going. That tells me it is probably leaking into some area that I don't have access to and pooling in some void between two panels somewhere.

When you drive in the rain, EVERYTHING gets wet from the exhaust to the tranny to the engine. It won't hurt anything. My Harley engines get soaked in the rain. Not a problem.
Glad to hear you figured out the water... That said - where is your fluid going if you're not using it? Are you in an extremely dry area like Phoenix or something?
I'm in a dry area in Southern California. It hasn't been above 90 degrees in a while. None of our other vehicles are losing fluid and I haven't ever had anything like this happen on any of the other vehicles we have owned. I don't know where its going. I filled it to the top of the filler neck 3 weeks ago. Now its down 2 inches below the top of the tank. Not the top of the filler neck the tank. I've checked several times all under and around the engine compartment with the UV light and cant see any sign of a leak. Does the engine bay get hot enough to evaporate it?
It should not evaporate because it is a closed system. The lid and the pump are the 2 barriers so that should stop any evaporation from the tank.
Is it possible that the line on the bottom of the washer tank is slowly leaking. Not enough to make a drip but enough to be wet to the touch and that is evaporating over time?
I'm going to speculate that there is a hole or something in the tube going from the washer reservoir to the spritzers in front of the windshield. The area at the base of the windshield is a known "low pressure area", and any kind of hole (or slice) in the tubing in that area would tend to "suck" the washer fluid out of the reservoir.

If you vehicle is still under warranty you could take it to the shop and see if they can fix it. However, if you want to fix it yourself I would recommend looking at a repair manual--it will tell you exactly what it's supposed to look like, seals, and troubleshooting tips.
I've taken it to a shop and they had it all day. I know they didn't look at it too long. That's why I added the UV die to the washer fluid and still can not find any trace of where the fluid id draining. I'm thinking its pooling some place then evaporating before it drains out and leaves that UV dye trail.
