So, I have a SCT SF3 Model 3015 programmer that I bought in 2011 or so for my 2010 F150 with a 5.4. I purchased it from Troyer Performance, and loaded the canned tunes until he provided me with 3 custom Tunes. From what I can remember there were 3 canned Tunes on the device for my F150.

Fast forward to today. I have traded in my 2010 for a 2017 with an ecoboost. I was going to sell the tuner to a friend who has a 2004 F250 with a 5.4. He called SCT who verified it would work on his truck, and I read the manual which confirmed it would work also. To make sure he didn't accidentally load my custom tunes, I deleted them from the device, and updated the firmware on the programmer for him.

The Problem:
When I was showing him how to load the tunes, It first asked if he had a 5.4 or 6.2 Liter motor on the F250. We chose 5.4, and it downloaded his stock tune to the device. When I went to upload a canned tune, it did not allow me to choose one of 3 tunes, instead, it just started loading an un-named engine tune that only took like 2 minutes to load. I have no idea if it was a tow or performance tune that was being loaded.

Questions:

Is there only 1 tune available for the F250 instead of the 3 for my F150?
If so what was it Tow? Performance?

Do the canned tunes not program a transmission tune, just an engine tune? (I cant remember if it did for my F150, since I used the customs)

Did I somehow delete the canned tunes when I deleted the custom Tunes? They were not on the screen when I hit delete, Only the 3 Custom Tunes.

I haven't had a chance to call SCT directly as I am at work and can't be on the phone too long.
