I changed out my fuel filters today on my 2016 F350 SD and right parts, no leakes, main filter full, and I did the 6 cycle fuel pump prime. Turns over but won't Start. Redid the 6 cycle prime several times now and still no start. Pulled the 2ndary filter lines while it was priming to see if flowing and got squirted on both lines. Thoughts?
So you are suggesting I unscrew and re screw the primary filter under the truck to see if it is completely set. 👌 . The 2ndary filter is just a drop in with the 2 hoses that snap on.
Did that with diesel oil. Correct. Found that I had not tighten the container the last full turn. Always concerned about over tightening these dam plastic parts. Read too much on how others have cracked them. Anyways all is good now!
If I was in your position I would remove the primary filter housing lube the o-ring with motor oil and tighten till it hits the stop, Re-prime and hope for the best.

While it's out check it for damage. If the truck ran before the filter change the cause is obvious and that's not a put down on you. **** happens.

Thats correct. Lube the oring with clean motor oil. The last turn or two feel tight. Keep going slowly until you hit the stop.

Glad you figured it out. That is a pretty common source of this issue after a change.
