Had them on a 2008 F250 that was on the lot, when i order my 2011 I didn't opt for them however when I order my 2015 I had them installed, like the look sure screwed up on the 2011
Ditto. I didn't order my F250...bought it off the lot. It has 2 options on it that originally I would not have felt necessary: cab lights and upfitter switches. As it stands, the jury is still out on the switches. Maybe I'll find a use for them... As for the lights, this is my first "3/4 ton" size truck in 40 years to have them. It never made sense to to put holes in the roof of a truck for purpose other than looks.I was concerned about overhead clearance entering my house garage door. It turns out that the lights clear my door seal strip but the rear of the cab does not. Hopefully removing a trim board and then replacing the door seal will do the trick.
Have you tried backing it in ? Reason I ask is my truck hits going in garage head first and has plenty to spare backing in. My garage entry is standard 7' but has a 1" lip from transition from driveway. Backing in, the cab will be past and cleared the 7' entry when the front tires bump up the transition.
Rake of truck helps.
I have a 2" level kit and still an inch or so to spare even with the clearance lights.
Make sure to adjust garage door so it goes all the way up (higher than door frame)
Hope this make since
I might have thought about getting them if they would have updated the light. Those are the same lights from 20 years ago. How about making them small Led's..
I am definitely odd man out on this thread. I abhor the way they look. On the DRW they are ok, but on the SRW no way. I guess I like the clean roof look. That's why there are so many options as there are so many opinions.

I didn't try backing it in. I'll give that a shot. Thanks for the idea!
