My truck didn't have a cat when I bought it, and I didn't install one when I replaced the exhaust system with the Banks Power Pack, which uses 3.5" exhaust pipe- I simply fabbed a section of stainless exhaust tubing with an air tube fitting.
I'm moving to a county that has E-check, and will have to install a catyletic convertor. Problem is, I'm having issues finding one with a 3.5" in/out WITH an air tube.

It might help if you stated what year/model/engine/transmission your truck is. Also, is it Federal emissions or California emissions?
Just a quick check shows '93-'97 7.5L PowerPack sytem for federal emissions is designed for 3" slip fit cat. Those are easy to find, such as a high flow Dynomax. Are you sure you need the air tube fitting? I don't remember offhand seeing one on my truck, the one in my sig line.
My truck is in my signature; it's a 1997 F350 4x4 regular cab with a 7.5L/460 and ZF5 manual.
Silly me; from the y-pipe to the muffler is 3", and it's 3.5" from the muffler outlet to the rear of the truck. I should have no issues finding a 3" universal converter.
And yes; my truck has the air injection, so I will be keeping it.
