I just got a buttload of IDI van parts and a block. Feels like christmas.

 

You s ore those from the uhaul gut in La?

 

i don't see no turbos though.

 

Just where does the cooler go? Must be a van only option. I dont have room in my engine bay for one

 

that is a van only option Hugh. it goes between the front seats.

 

Oh tnought so. I had a small cooler that would fit in console till I had the dog in truck and she stepped on the lid

I almost have all my parts for my IDI Christmas.

 

No turbo, but I already got a hypermax that I'm gunna swap over. This came from the Uhaul resendiz put up for sale. I think he's still trying to unload the tranny and shell if you are interested. The pistons or crank has a problem, but the rest seams solid. I got new heads, turbo, etc etc etc, to add to it. So I hope to rebuild the problem and see if I can get it running. Would be nice to have this instead of my low-compression 6.9 spare running.

Anyone know the differences between the block and head from the 1988 and the 1994 IDI's? Can I run 1988 heads on a 1994 block?
