For a long time I had a small rattling noise that was driving me crazy. It was coming from what sounded like my driver side rear door area. I thought I had something in my tool box that was making noises. I took all my underseat rear storage stuff out. Still had the noise. I made sure I took everything out of my driver side door holders. Still had the noise.
Come to find out it was the seat belt rattling on the pillar on the rear door.
I moved the seat belt back to the position where it lays flat besides the rear seat and no more rattle.
So if you have a passenger ride with you in the back seat, and suddenly hear a new rattle, check your seat belt. It is probably rattling on the door pillar.
If the belts get twisted, that can happen. Has done it a couple times on passenger side of my truck. Happened often in the Tundra that I had before the SD.
I have that happen all the time when my wife gets out of the truck. Her seatbelt invariably gets twisted and I have to reach over and straighten it out or it will rattle as well.
Nice when it is something easy, even though it may take a while to find it.
Yeah it is nice. Easy fix, I liked it a lot. LoL.

Yep. I hadn't had it happen in a vehicle I owned yet.

I had that same noise and fond it to be the seatbelt as well. Only took 2 days to find it. These new trucks are so quiet any little rattle will drive you crazy
