clearance light question
Hey guys I just purchased a 2017 f250 lariet and it was slightly used with 9k on it and when i got it home i noticed a clearance light was out, I called up and said get me a bulb ill do it myself. So I called my parts guy at the dealership and he said no problem hell order it. well it came in and to both of our surprise the light is a complete assembly and has a wonderful sticky pad on the bottom.
Has anyone replaced one yet? how do you get the old one off?

The clearance lights are LED. They typically don't burn out, so you might want to check for a bad connection. Repairs should be covered by your truck's original 3-year/36K mile warranty.
Peanut butter or WD40 might remove the old gasket's adhesive.

Use "Goo Gone" works great and no issues with paint or finish

goo gone is the ticket BUT make your dealer do it, really, cause if they find something anything wrong when you do it, they wont stand behind it. once they do a repair, its covered for two years no matter what.
