Hi. I've had my black 62 named Ol Blue lol for 1 year. The signals don't work. I noticed 3 or 4 fuses under the ebrake. Before I screw something up, what may be the problem. The turn signal lever doesn't look stock. It has a red buttom to pull for emergency lights which don't work either. Brake lights and park lights work fine. Any ideas? Are any of those fuses for signals?
I have a circuit diagram here for the 1965 F series which suggests the turn signal circuit was protected by a fuse mounted in a fuse panel on the firewall near the e-brake. An
orange wire with a yellow tracer goes to the flasher where the power for the brake lights branches off to the stoplight switch. Then the power leads the stock turn signal switch in the steering column. Truck as built apparently did not have inline fuses. As you do not have a stock turn signal switch let the games and detective work begin.
