It might be a moot question as the truck is 20 years old. Not sure on AZ law but in Oregon 20 years or older the vehicle is exempt, all types. Call up AZ DMV as they are usually helpful, not so much 17 years ago, when I lived there.

The gasser radiator and radiator support will not be as big as the diesel's.

Gotta admit, I am really suspicious of this "351 to PSD" swap.

Different transmissions. Different foot throttle assembly, much less the related wiring. Making the 'Wait to Start' light work. And most telling, the RPM range on the tachometer.

Not saying it wasn't done and that it wan't done correctly. But there are a lot more differences than a simple engine and fender swap.

But, my middle name is "skeptic".

Good luck and check here with questions and also keep your inner ear listening to your gut instincts.

The WTS runs off the PCM, without which the truck wouldn't run at all. I think it was established earlier that the cluster (including the tach) was part of the swap; presumably the whole diesel-specific light array was as well.
