I took the ingot silver (paint code UX) tailgate hinge that I replaced with one with a damper and put it next to the interior panel on my truck - unfortunately not the same. The interior silver colored plastic has more gray in the paint.
Incidentally, when I got my new truck home from delivery I noticed a nick on the driver's door pull handle, as well as a crack in the exterior handle. Both were replaced under warranty last week, with the interior handle just snapping off and on for the tech. Doubt your console trim will be that simple. Good luck with it!

Thanks. I thought about the ingot silver paint pen but figured it would be somewhat different. I have read other places the only way to get it done correctly is to respray it. I pulled the top piece off yesterday which is fairly easy, but I am wondering if there is a replacement part that I can order for just that section. I typically would not even care about it but I am super picky about this truck. It is bothering me every time I open the door. lol
I hate to b*tch to much, but they could have put something a little more durable. At least a plastic that is colored throughout and not just painted over. I have a few spots showing up on mine and it is not even a month old yet. I guess instead of 75,000 they would sticker at 100,000 with better trim!!!!!! I also would be highly interested if anyone can find where to get touchup paint from. I have the same color trim. With my kids, it will be needed!

This is exactly what I was thinking. If you have anything with sharp edges on your pants or in your pockets it will scratch the paint.
Local wrecking yards specializing in late model Fords are a place to start but the truck model is so new, it might be fruitless. Colorbondpaint.com specializes in interior car paint and has a color board with lots of examples by car manufacturer. They suggest confirming the proper code from the dealer. It will need a respray but it should be simple if the part is easily removed. Use a little filler on those scratches.
I just had a local mobile interior company repair a small corner tear on my console lid today (black leather). I was amazed at how undetectable the work was. Took all of about 1/2 hour. I found out they can repair just about any interior piece. I can't tell you what it cost as the dealer paid for it. You may want to seek a company like this out as another option. Check who your selling dealer would use for interior repairs.
Yeah I'm not very happy with the console trim pieces. They look and feel extremely cheap and obviously scratch extremely easy as well. I'm going to have them wrapped in padded leather eventually.
