Let's try this,
State the problems you are having with your vehicle including the codes, describe the vehicle in detail, and let's go from there. And keep it all on the same thread so no one gets lost.
Trying to find solutions to imaginary problems is only going to waste your time.
Idles around 850 or 900 at operating temp when in park or nuetral. Has a moderately rough idle. I have a burning lean code. Already replaced every filter in the truck, and i have also done my spark plugs ( wires were clean on the connections and had no damage) oil change made no difference. Oil presure gaudge stays in the same spot regardles of engine RPM. PCV valve was a little dirty but not inside of it (easily wiped clean). I seem to be leaking from a front seal possibly from too much pressure in the engine but i dont know because the oil presure gauge does not change while driving( oil pressure sending unit fouled?). Rpms drop down to 600 when in drive or reverse and the ABS light is on even with the key in start mode without the engine running.
"Burning lean" code. That could be a vacuum leak. Check the hoses for the PCV and any other vacuum connection. Also check the intake manifold. Cracks or leaks will give you the code. Use WD 40 or carb cleaner with the little tube so you can control exactly where you spray it. With the engine at idle, work you way around the manifold and if you hear the idle change, bingo!
I am risking telling you you have no idea what your doing by the last reply you wrote.
What is the engine?
What are the codes set?
There are no PCV sensors or switches.
You simply have a pan or front seal gasket leak for the oil you see.
The oil pressure gauge will not tell you anything about actual pressure unless it falls below about 8 PSI. That certainly is not high pressure.
We need the info to be of help.
.
I went back to you public profile and found the motor to be a very high mileage 4.2 v6.
First bet is the intake manifold bolts and gaskets need to be replaced to clear the Idle issue and possible 171/174 codes you might have..
You see why the info is important?
