300 straight 6: No start after bleeding fuel system
I recently replaced the fuel pump in the rear tank and bled the air out of the system through the bleeder screw in the frame rail. Since doing this, it just cranks and cranks and will not fire. Was something done wrong during the process? I have done a few fuel pumps throughout my life and have never had this issue.

Are you getting fuel pressure at the fuel rail on the engine? There is a Schrader valve near the pressure regulator to check it. Also, is it possible you inadvertently banged the inertia switch so as to disable the pump?

Yes, the valve has already been checked. It's got pressure and fuel flowing through it. I just checked the inertia switch and it's fine. It shouldn't have tripped anyways since there has been no hard impact to the truck.

Maybe your problem is unrelated to the pump replacement. If you hold your hand around one of the injectors while somebody cranks the engine do you feel them "clicking" as they pulse? Or alternatively, look at them on a scope.
