Call your insurance company and tell them your truck got flooded. Not sure why you are gambling on a newer truck dude....The electronics in them will wreck havoc on you....

Which intake do you have? Puddles in the bottom is different than water THROUGH the filter into the engine. Was the entire filter soaked?

Same symptoms with the hubs unlocked and transfer case disengaged?

I doubt his insurance will cover repair costs if he was out 4 wheeling. If that's the case, I would change all fluids regardless of if they got water or not, I'd pull every connector I could find and spray it with contact cleaner and grease them with dielectric grease. get a code reader check what they are.Over heating, make sure the radiator fins are clear, spray them out with water and make sure they aren't smashed up.
