Drive shaft length

I am going to switch from a c6 to a t-19 in my 86 crew cab dually 4x2 does anyone know what length I would need for the t-19 or if the c6 shaft will work. It is a 2 piece shaft so i may only need the front half, the c6 uses a slip yoke while the t-19 uses a bolted yoke if that matters. I have everything I need to do the swap except the driveshaft and that's where I need advice. Thanks

Looks like you are the 9th one down on the list. Different from the others, I am guessing you are going to have to get yours lengthened or shortened.

Did you get that off car-part.com? I did not think to look for a later model and I don't guess it matters long as it's for a crew cab with a t-19. Thanks

I plugged in your year and model, but car-part does list other compatible year trucks also.

.But you've got to be careful with what car-part thinks is compatible (and they even warn you about that). I was just looking for a steering wheel for a '96 F-250HD (I know better than to look for one for a '97...) and it was happy to tell me about steering wheels out of '96 F-150, which has an air bag while the F-250HD does not. So I wouldn't guarantee that they're taking all of the applicable options into account. You need to call the seller and make sure it's what you need.
