I am curious what y'all do for service and maintenance of your diesel SD's. I am capable of oil changes, maybe fuel filter change, topping off fluids, and other items. However, I will have to rely on the dealer quite a bit for much of the maintenance schedule (brakes, lubrication of joints and such, etc).
As a grouchy, old mechanic, I do it all.
However anything under warranty is going to the dealer.
I don't know if I want to do ball joints on these front axles anymore. Getting tougher as I get grouchier.

The question was service and maintenance. Anything under warranty I'd be a fool to touch.
Just did my first oil change on the 2017 today.. would have had the dealer do it if I hadn't run outta time. All future ones will be done by them, just cuz I've gotten lazy and can afford it (it's actually almost the same price as me doing it myself). I'd be inclined to do my own brake pads, but we'll see when that time comes.
