Well, at least you get the memos, I get squat!! Our weather is driving me nuts, I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever get the underside of my damn box coated! I'm taking Thursday off to try again.
I am enjoying the weather here right now. Cool enough to open the house and turn off the AC finally.
I had my first trip out in months, in the Cherokee without any overheating issues! It was a great day.
Been cool here the past week, but it is slated to go up to the high 90's the rest of this week. So I will be staying inside as usual. Grandson turned 15 on Saturday, going to take him and two of my grand daughters to Hometone Buffet for dinner to celebrate. Him for his birthday, and the grand daughters (7 and 10) because they are doing so well in school, (like they always do, seems they have the brains in the family LOL)
Jim, the pickup is doing fine. Only issue it has is needing the fuel filter changed about every 3-6 months depending on how much I drive it. I can't wait to get back to work on it and change out that craptastic fuel tank in the bed. I am planning on a mustang tank under the bed and going back to the wood slates for the floor. I just have to be able to stop working on the Jeep long enough to get the truck in the garage.
I am so glad I did not buy it. I am very limited on what I can actually do in the way of repairs these days, and the truck would have taxed my abilities real quick. Glad you are able to get some use out of it. I too thought of putting wood in the bed after getting rid of that tank, but didn't think of the Mustang tank idea.
