How do I stop the email updates from the threads I've replied to?
I've gone into my user profile and "unchecked" what I think I need to, but I still get emails every time somebody posts to a thread that have also posted to.
Sorry for bothering you, I too new to be allowed to send a PM to anybody, including an admin person.
There is an options to set whether or not to get emails for subscribed threads and the frequency. I set it to no email and still emails are being sent. I'm going to try setting this to weekly and see if that works.
Would like to be subscribed to threads so I can monitor responses and see new posts. But I do not want additional emails being sent.
User cp / edit options / default thread subscription mode.

Ok, I found another possibility. In my list of Subscribed Threads there is a pop up menu called Selected Threads. I selected the threads I did not want emails from and chose No Email Notification. This seems hopeful.
