Looking at maybe getting an 86 Bronco Eddie Bauer edition. It says it has a 351 motor, what motor should I expect? Also it's carbureted. Thought it would be efi by 86. What else should I be looking at for the cons? Truck doesn't look bad in pictures, but we all know how that goes. Thanks for any help!

 

If my old memory serves me well, it should have the 351 HO ( high output 351W) should have a Holley 4 barrel carb. Memory again, don't think the EFI showed up till 87 or 88. for sure in 88 but I think the 302 got it first, then the 351 was a little later.

My 86 E.B. Bronco was a 4 speed, 302 FI

 

Bronco got efi in 85/86 for the 5.0. 5.8 didnt see efi till 88 model year.

that 351wHO was a great motor.
