390 flywheel

The 390 flywheel which is so often said to be the one to use when dropping a 429 into a '73-'79 era truck is also compatible with many other models of Ford or Mercury isn't it?

The 360 will work also. I doubt you will find one off a Mercury but if you did, yes it would work.

The only difference between the 352/360 & 390 flywheel is the size of the clutch. Either can be used.

1965/67 Ford 352 Passenger Cars & F100/350 352; 1968/76 F100/350 360.
