I am in NJ trying to track down my Truck, dealer contacted their Ford representative and received the same information, can anyone help? Truck shows due today at dealer yet it appears to be still at the Plant?
There are a lot of us here that have endured several missed ETA'S. ... I myself had 4 different ETA'S and a few days of no ETA in between the reset.... Here is what the nice lady on Ford chat told me... "An ETA is a Estimated Time of Arrival and subject to change".... I know this doesn't help but it's just the way it is and not out of the norm.
My dealer has been great, Ford could care less, and now COTUS shows no ETA.
Why do you say Ford could care less? As I stated, Ford can't do anything once it is released to the shipped. It isn't that they don't care, it is they can't force JC to choose which ones go first to the dealer. JC is co reacted and unionized.. unfortunately no matter how many escalations or inquiries Ford does, JC has full control.
Reach out to JC if you want. One is thus on my fusion and they were able to tell me what day it was planned to gpn to the dealer (showed up a day earlier then they stated).
Regardless of a customer order or dealer stock, there is NO set delivery date for any vehicle. Although understandably frustrating, there are way too many possibilities of why a vehicle can get delayed. JC will not load up your truck and deliver a sin gle vehicle up to your dealer. If trains got delayed that were supposed to join your truck on the same transport vehicle, your truck would be delayed to wait for a full truck. They never deliver 1 vehicle to a dealer and the rest to a far distance away.
This unfortunately is why so many dealers don't like giving out this type of in formation... when it doesn't work out, it ticks customers off as if it was a contracted date of arrival.
I have ordered my last 2 vehicles and was told both times "6-8 weeks". '15 Mustang showed-up exactly 6 weeks from order and '17 F250 showed-up in 30 days........Never even crossed my mind to check on delivery or attempt to expedite......it is what it is when you order a vehicle.
So what Jack Cooper told me this am is that the truck went out for its spray in liner and then went mia, most likely was never scanned in to the correct ramp location, and so sits and sits.

so Jack Cooper seems to be trying to blame Ford. The step that says "released to body company is the part when Ford releases it to have it sprayed. It returned after that and then released to JC. This is purely a JC issue.
