My son and I recently picked up a 1965 F-100 which was transplanted onto what we were told was a 1988 Bronco Frame... We are in the beginning of a frame off restoration, and I went to order bushings/bodymounts/tierods/ball joints/etc... and wanted to double check that it was in fact an 88. I looked on the frame which we had sandblasted for the VIN. It was between two stars, and I am relatively sure it said...
P14BRQ3038 The Q may be a zero, or O, not positive...
Any chance anyone could help me out before we order all new components?
Thanks,
Matt
If this is a bum vin number, I think there may be one more vin on a front cross member that is covered in grease still that I could check out (haven't sandblasted up past the back half yet...)
