F10=F100

7 =1957
L =LONGBEACH
13044=?
WHEN I BOUGHT THIS I WAS TOLD IT HAD A 292ci SO MAYBE IT IS A 272 ALTHOUGH IT HAS A 4V AND A 4 SPEED ON THE FLOOR COULD IT BE THAT THE OLD 272 WAS JUNKED SO WILL I NEED TO FIND THE ENGINE NUMBER? GARY

Ok I checked my book and you are right on the money.The 272 was replaced at some point.Unless you want to keep the numbers perfect I would leave it alone. A 292 is the same block and a good 292 is a good engine. Just keep good oil in it. Dorsey
