c6 cooler lines

I am installing a fresh c6 into my formerly manual truck, and I don't know which line is which. The manual doesn't say whether the front or rear cooler line is the out. The truck is not ready to be started, so that option is out. Any clues?

I believe that the rear fitting is for the return line (back to tranny) and the front fitting is for the send line (from tranny).
