1976 body swap to a 96 F350 powerstroke

I'm doing a body swap from my 76 f250 to my 96 powerstroke. Has anyone done this before? And any tips on making it go smoothly?

I saw a 78/79 F250 CCSB swapped onto a 96 F250 CCSB at the Indy 4wd jamboree a few years ago. Looked very sweet! According to the owner, he just re-skinned the 96 with the 78/79 doors, and cut-off the bedsides and welded on the 78/79 bedsides. Added complete fenders from the 78/79 and custom made brackets for the bumpers and front grille. Left the 96 cab on, but it had the 78/79 dash inside, along with the 78/79 door panels...very sharp!! He said it was much easier than swapping the body and having to re-wiring everything. Oh, and yes, it had the 7.3L powerstroke. I always wanted to do the same thing some day!
