CV Front Clip Steering Link

Im getting ready to get into doing a front clip swap with a crown vic front end. i will be putting in a 302 after its complete. Every thread i have found with pictures seems to have expired (stupid photobucket). im trying to figure out what people have done to re attach the steering to the CV front. if anyone has any pictures and info it would be MUCH appreciated. My truck came with the 223 so the engine crossmember is under the radiator not above the axle

I just installed my CV last week. Still havent got the motor back in yet though (Originally 223 but Im thinking of putting this 289 in I have sitting in the shed + T5) I used the stock CV steering shaft joints and cut it down. I chopped the stock steering shaft down until 3 Inches were sticking out the firewall. Smoothed down the steering stem at the end to fit a lock collar. Slid the cut CV Jointed shaft over that and drilled a hole and pinned it.
