Cross over steering relocates your drag link from its stock position to tie in with the knuckle above your leaf springs. This lessens the angle which it operates at, putting less pressure on your steering box (specifically your sector shaft). A kit for your cross-over steering will come with the new drag link, a new passenger steering knuckle, and maybe a few other things I am not sure. When you do this there is also the need to relocate your trac bar so that it will have the same angle as your drag link to reduce bump steer. JetJock has a great thread on his experiences with his new crossover steering kit, and i will search for it and put up a link as soon as I find it.
