86 electrical problem

86 electrical problem
My 86 f250 with 6.9 has been dependable up to about one month ago, sometime when I turn the key to start, nothin happens, I have to move the shifter back and forth, nothing happens, put it in neutral, nothing, back to park, sometimes it start in park and sometimes in neutral, whats the fix?

sometimes the neutral safety switch goes out of adjustment, usually if this is the case when slightly move the shifter and try in start my hunch would be just below normal park position.
