Something a little off here. Gross Weight is almost identical but the Steer and Drive axle weights are way off. I made sure the front wheels was on another weight pad from the rear so I could get the weight of both. Looks like you had both axles on the same pad.

Most likely, didn't try to put the truck on the pads at all, just parked in the middle got out and pushed the button to get the teller to enter my weight, then walked over and stood about 5 feet in front of the truck. The 200# steer axle weight is my skinny *** standing in front of my truck, I don't weigh 200 (well maybe fully clothed with boots on) so I assumed the scale was rounding up at such a small amount.

......and why is my truck 600# or so lighter than those posted above?

1911fan, I think you are misinterpreting the numbers. If you look on the door sticker, you will see that the rear GAWR (gross axle weight rating) is somewhere around 7,000 lbs. On your weigh sheet, your rear axle is only at 3,200 lbs. A difference of 3,800lbs. You have plenty of margin for the fifth wheel that you mentioned. The real limiting factor on the SRW trucks are the tires. If you have the proper tires on your truck, they are good for around 3,750 each (7,500 total for rear axle).
You will more than likely have some sag on the rear that can easily be taken care of with air bags, Timbrens, or some other suspension upgrade

It is highly unlikely that an F250 has a 7,000 lb rear axle. Check door sticker to see exactly what you have. To estimate fifth wheel pin weight, should really use about 22-23% of trailer gross weight rating. Dry weights really don't mean much.

My SRW F-350 (which has the same axle as the F-250) says 7000 on the sticker. I didn't just make the number up.

The Ford specifications for the model year 2016 Super Duty shows different rear axles for the F250 and F350 SRW models (see p.88 of the attachment). For each of the trucks, the rear springs are what determine the rear axle load ratings and the spring ratings are somewhat under the axle rating. That detailed info is also in the attachment. In any event, the door sticker is what gives the truck owner the actual data for his/her particular truck

Very interesting discussion. Looking at my Door sticker (should be the same as the OP) the Combined Gross Axle Weight Ratings on my F250 is 11,300 (5200 front and 6100 rear) but the GVWR is only 10,000.

Ford says it will haul 11,300 safely but the sticker says only 10,000? Which number is the DOT going to look at if an accident occurs?

The axle ratings do not combine to determine the GVWR. For instance, you could hang a snow plow on the front and be at/near/over the FAWR; but, still under the GVWR. Similarly, you could could have a load in the bed (or trailer tongue weight) that put you at/near/over the RAWR but still be under the GVWR. Really need to look carefully at how the truck is being loaded and compare to the various ratings if you want to stay within the ratings. Lots of folks say that they are towing with 3/4 ton trucks and are over their factory ratings. That is certainly a personal decision.

Thanks i will get some better pics next weekend when we take it out for the first time. And probably pass over a scale to see how far over i am in weight. Truck pulled it home from the dealer fine. But we were 2 people short and all of out crap was not in it. Ive spent all day today going through the truck and stuff for the camper trying to lighten the load. I believe i got rid of a few hundred pounds
