Will it ever be right?

2016 with 4500 miles. I was worried about the rocker panel but measured the front tires to the bumper and 2.25" on the side hit and 10" on the right. Whats the odds this truck will be right again?

A GOOD shop will make as good, of not better than new. If it can't be made like new, a GOOD shop will say that it is not repairable.

As much as that sucks, I've had vehicles with much worse damage. As Bob said, a good shop will have it back to new in no time. My wife's Grand Cherokee had 20k+ in damage with 1300 miles on it. Took a while but once it was back, it never had a problem. In fact, the shop painted the hood better than Jeep did at the factory.

Thanks Guys I can't tell how sick I am and how much your posts have helped. No one was hurt and I didn't choke the little punk that caused it.

I would want all new parts. Looks like the tires and mirror got whacked as well.

Hope it never happens again, but if it does we want photos of the puke in poor condition.

As long as there isn't frame damage, it will be a relatively easy job. It sucks that it happened, but it can be made right!

Make sure the alignment is perfect, not 'within spec', when you get it back. If it isn't right, they need to replace some suspension parts.

Well maybe I was being judgemental But the Lad had a black T shirt on with large white letters saying shut the "bleep" up. The Chevy cobalt he was driving has mauled it's last Ford that's for sure.

The mirror is ok but the tire took a good hit and should be replaced.

Terrible that it happened, but as others have said not a big deal if it got to the frame that could be an issue but even that can be fixed. One thing I'll tell you looking at that picture I wonder what my 17 would do being made of aluminum right now compared to my 16 looks like it held up really well to a side-impact. About a year ago a F-150 aluminum was struck on a side-impact similar to yours could not believe the amount of intrusion into the interior out of 26 mile an hour impact it makes me think every time I get in my new truck take care glad you didn't get hurt

There's a pic of the Cobalt. I was a good shot and I'm glad I was in a big PU.

After having been through this myself, make sure you take it to YOUR shop and not the insurance's shop. As others alluded to (suspension parts), if you take it to a shop you pick, they will go beyond the body damage to see if there are signs that other parts of the truck were damaged through the absorption of the impact. If you take it to the insurance's body shop, they will stop at the immediately visible damage. Trust me, I've been in a lawsuit with an insurance company over this for the last two years. Save yourself the hassle and select a shop that repairs everything with OEM parts and make sure that shop isn't a preferred shop for the insurance company that will be paying.

At least nobody was hurt (well at least in the Ford).

So sorry to hear about the damage to your Truck. I have the same 2016 in the same color.
I feel sick just looking at the Picture of your's. It looks like the Doors took most of the hit, and hopefully they will be replaced with new ones. When the Body Shop gets done you will never know anything happened. Hope She's Repaired soon so you can get back to enjoying your truck instead of worrying about it.

With our insurance Co. if you take it to their shop you have a lifetime warranty on the repairs. They did the grand daughters car and we got it back perfect. 7 grand in repairs. Not all insurance companies or repair shops are created equal. Rather than draw a conclusion, do a little research. Yelp is a good place to start.

If the shop your looking at can get it in a lot sooner than the other shop. I would wonder why.
