Where Do These Go !!!

Good day to you all.

As some of you know, I have a 51 F1 that I have been working on for ever. We did the maiden voyage on the 4th of July (no windows, doors, fenders or bed). It ran great (Jag IFS, Jag IRS, Chevy 350, Chevy 350 trans).

I have started the process of repairing the front fenders (usual rust but not too bad). I took the front clip apart about a year ago and didn't take pictures (shame on me).

I know where most everything goes but these two small pieces of sheet metal.

If anyone can steer me in the right direction, I would appreciate the help.

Thanks

Dan

Put your running boards and front fenders on and you will see a "hole" where they join; that is where they go.

Left & right fender to running board filler panels . A little hammer & dolly work , media blast , primer , sanding and paint & you should be good to go . Thees are also easily made w/ the help of a sheet metal brake . Good luck & keep us posted w/ pics .

Fender extensions

I remember taking the fender to running board pannels off back when I stripped the truck. Thought I put them in a box and stored them in the attic.

Guess not - cause now that you mention it, that's probably what they are.

Thanks for the help.
