guys I need a little help trying to figure out what is up with my diesel. first off i swapped the motor and trans in it with a motor and trans out of an 05 everything bolted and plugged in perfect. Once i put it all back together crank up and ran fine. so put in drive and made it about 200 yards and the truck, lost all throttle response so i killed it and tried to crank it and it would turn over, just wouldn't fire off. so got it back and finally got it to crank back but when I mashed the throttle, nothing and also the oil pressure gauge dropped and will only idle for about 3 to 4 mins before slowly dyeing. replaced the high pressure oil pump, and still same thing the only the code is the number 2 glow plug...

 

there are electronic differences in the two engine, fighting the same battle ,

 

Hi nova f350 thank you for the reply. is there anything i can do to set it straight without by new computer systims for it. someone told me to flash the system but im unfamliar with the process of flashing, can you lead me in the direction i need to go with this project.
