I know this has been asked but damn I cannot locate and fix my brake pull so I thought I would ask again.
Problem is hard pull to the left when hot, dont really notice when cool,
Things I've done so far, new front lines, new front calipers, new rotors and pads and new slide pins. These were all done over the course of about 6 month and yet the pull remains. Th only thing i guess left to change would be caliper bracket, dont really know what that will do but its the only thing that hasnt been changed? Anybody have any insight?
I have had a hard pull from a problem with the REAR brakes. Do not assume it is the front brakes. I had slide pins frozen solid on the right rear causing a hard pull when braking. You need to go through your rear brakes really well. Slide pins are easy to check first, then go from there.
Well there are the metal brake lines where they come out up top down to your flexible brake lines or the metering block--the only other place where fluid to individual wheels is still segregated. Of course, if you change that, I'm thinking to myself that you would want to have the hardware around to replace the brake lines--that's the kinda crap that happens to me-starting a job and "oops I don't have that"
I removed all the fluid from the reservoir. Used a large body syringe with a straw on the end. Then filled it back up with new. Bled each corner until fresh clean fluid came out. Yes, took forever and my daughter is hilarious. Me: "open", her: "unicorn", me: "closed", her: "signpost". Unicorn = down, signpost = up. Anyway, after that, no more pull and a firm pedal.
Forgot to mention new rotors and pads in rear cleaned and greased pins and yes fluid flushed less than a year ago.
Im going to put new rotors and pads up front with a new left side bracket and pins?
Well tearing everything down to replaces pads and rotors and bracket but when I pulled rotor off I noticed good build up of what appears to be grease? Doesn't smell like gear oil? Where in the f is that coming from?

well looks like grease from both hubs? Replaced 2 years ago, coming off and new ones going on under warranty! Damn it!
I was chasing brake pull, too and I replace front rotors lines pads and calipers and still had a pulling issue a year later I pulled off a caliper to check the pads and one of the quote new calipers had hung up in its bore and burned up a new set of ebc brake pads so I will say never trust something just because it's new
got both new hubs on and driver side rotor and pads on and about put tire back on and I kicked the damn dust shield! SOB I forgot them on both sides! So I guess I'm stopping for tonight and will tear everything back down tomorrow and reinstall dust shields while I wait for tire rod and window motor to arrive! Beer and grill time!
I have an 01 X 4x4 and I am having the same problem. It is pulling to the left really bad during braking. If I brake hard enough, the left wheel will lock up. I have replaced all 4 calipers, rotors, pads, and the front brake lines. Still the same.
I'm not sure what to do. I have heard, flush brake lines, reverse flush brake lines, flush ABS unit, replace ABS unit.
