I have SYNC with navigation, and all my music and playlists on a USB drive. The current USB was freshly formatted and new playlists created on a laptop. They appear on screen and play ok, but there are also several old playlists from a previous USB on the screen that are no longer functional. It appears that SYNC has bufferred these in a cache somehow from the previously used USB drive. How can I clear the old junk from the screen?

This might be a pain because it should erase everything and put the screen back to factory spec.
Try this. With the truck turned on but not necessarily running, unplug your current USB drive. Shut off the truck. Turn it back on, wait for the audio system screen to come up and then plug in your USB drive. This forces the system to re-index the info from the active drive and should delete the obsolete info.
Worth a try and you lose nothing.
: The only time I will listen to MP3 'music' is when I'm on the tractor mowing the field. Other than that, no MP3 'music' here. Can't stand the sound of compressed audio.... I listen to vinyl with a tube amp....
