I finally found a local car wash that my truck fits in. All the regular spots I've been to are 7 foot max clearance. This is not something I even thought about while ordering and installing larger tires and a level kit. I basically boxed myself out of every car wash around. That is until a brand new local car wash sent me an email offering a free wash. So I decided to give them a call and ask the attendant what the height restriction was. He said he believed it was 90 inches so I said let's give it a try.
I drove down there and indeed it was 90 inches and my truck fit! Despite the scared nervous looks of the two attendants who thought my truck would not fit. Lol. The wash was 15 minutes from my house however they are building one that is four minutes from my house so I believe I will start going there once they open! I'm pretty happy. I can power wash the truck during the summer but I'm not dragging my hose out in the middle of the winter so finding a place I could bring it to for a wash was helpful.
That was a big consideration for me when I was trying to figure out how high I could go with the ReadyLift level and chose a 2.5 inch kit. My local tunnel car maxed out at 86 inches and the truck finally ended up at 84.5 inches. It's a bit close but it makes it.
Funny that thus comes up cuz I finally took mine to a drive thru touchless wash yesterday by my house that was a 7' clearance. I have a 2.5" level and 35's so I was a little anxious about fitting under the clearance bar! I measured before and it was right at 7' so I said what the heck and gave it a shot. The biggest problem was that after waiting in line, I pretty much was committed with not a great way out if it didn't fit. Finally when it got to my turn to roll through, I looked up as I was creeping under the 7' marker and it barely touched the bar. Lucky me! I think if I was running a full 80 psi in the tires I would've been in trouble. Good luck to everyone else
My local car wash has an unlimited plan for $35/month. Best money I've spent, especially with all the salt in the the winter. I probably go through a couple times a week. The blowers are less than an inch from the moonroof... just fits with 295 60 R20 trail grapplers.

Right.... this place has an unlimited wash plan as well.
My local car wash has the unlimited annual plan. I may buy it when it goes on sale around Christmas. I had the plan on my prior truck, but it was my daily driver.
They do a good job. Better than I can do given how cold it can get and how hard the water is.
Wow.
In 30 years of driving I've never taken a car to a car wash.. I'm in CA and never heard of an undercarriage wash either, lol. We don't exactly have seasons tho...
Magnesium Chloride is used here in Colorado on the roads to keep them from icing over. It isn't as bad as traditional salt (Sodium Chloride) but it can still do bad things to your vehicle. I'm at the car wash as soon as the roads are clear of snow.
