Decipher my Vin
I will say that though you can get lots of original info from the tag (not the VIN alone, but all the info on the warranty plate) that will not give you any information after it was delivered.
There may be a way to find that stuff, but I am not aware of any resource to do that on vehicles this old. Unless CarFax has gone old-school, you're out of luck unless you find a friendly local DMV or State Police / Hwy Patrol person that can look anything up.
And that's assuming the vehicle stayed in one locale it's whole life.
At least that's as much as I think I know. If someone has more info I'm sure it will come out.
Good luck.

How would I be able to determine its history and or any accidents and so on?
There's no way to know its history from the VIN or whether it was ever in an accident. This info wasn't available until the 1990's.
U15 = Bronco Wagon, 6100 lbs. GVWR
H = 351M 2V
L = Michigan Truck Assembly Plant.
EB1651 = 1979.
This is the Safety Standard Certification Label that is glued to the B pillar, what you see is all you get....which isn't much.
Warranty Plate riveted to the left door face below the latch, all the codes (COLOR/TRANS/AXLE etc) are embossed on it, post what they are or post a pic of the puppy.
