Yeah that pretty much sums it up.

Fine Ron how bout a 4.56 vs 4.88 gearing debate? Let's break from the 4.30s for awhile. Still waiting for my neighbor to get his garage finished up for a 4.30 swap.

LOL

I liked the one comment about only getting 400K miles from the engine. Chevy makes them run 500K.... in their dreams. personally I cannot complain. My 250 6.2 has done every thing I have asked it to do from an emergency camping trip disaster to hauling over 3500 pounds in the bed. The 6.2 complains less than the driver.

Congrats on that sweet new truck! You just can't go wrong with Oxford. So does it have 4.30's or was it off the lot?

3.73 off the lot, local dealership is offering some pretty healthy discounts right now in anticipation of the 2018 models. Combine that with a 1.89% financing offer and I couldn't pass the opportunity up, that practically free money.

I have a gripe with my 6.2 that I had when I ordered the truck, that I still have every time I drive it: it doesn't have 10 cylinders!!

Ok, I can go there. 4.88's all the way. Of course, I may be a bit biased to them. Love my 4.88's for my driving needs.

I got some bragging rights this am on the way to work. Caught a red light, and the lowered white 1/2 ton late model ext. cab Silverado in front of me scooted over to the right lane. Guess he thought he was going to pick on a 3/4 ton ford on 37's. I pulled him a 1/2 a truck, when I hit second, he pulled back up to about my front tire. But when he hit second, that's all she wrote, I walked him by a truck length before I lifted. He then came flying by me. Best part, I had a ford loving coworker behind me, so when I got to work, I didn't have to say a word to no one. He did all the bragging for me. Granted, the Silverado could have been the small v8(4.8?), but it wasn't a 6 cylinder. I ain't bragging how fast my truck is, because I don't consider it fast at all. Just saying how slow that Chevy was.

I made a fair living working at a "C" dealership.. but when I needed a hard working 3/4 ton truck.. I got what I got..

the past 2 years have proven me correct..
Just Saying.

SuperCab Long Beds look great. There's a few running around here and I will have one again someday.

I dig it, I prefer the look over the crew cab. Plus it's a bit shorter which is nice. I very rarely have human beings in the back seats, extended cab is perfect for us.

It needs some tint on those windows

Figured I may as well post up a before and after of mine.

The day I bought it. Took my moms fuel efficient Fit to pick it up over in Ohio rented a trailer and towed it back to PA. My truck was originally a fleet truck for a company down in Texas and Louisianna.
A year and a half later

All these Super Duties, my F 150 seems small but it still barks loud. Depending on the day it is either a Baby Super Duty or a 2 wheel drive Rapter.
